Tom Gardner - Founder / CEO

Tom Gardner is a U.S. Air Force veteran with a distinguished background in elite protection. Serving as a K-9 and SWAT officer on a specialized police unit, he built the foundation for a career defined by discipline, leadership, and operational excellence. He was honorably discharged in 1985 after years of dedicated service.

Tom is a graduate of the Executive Protection Institute in Winchester, Virginia, and holds Nine Lives status—recognized as a leader among protection professionals. Since 2009, he has been a licensed private investigator and executive protection agent, serving clients with discretion and integrity.

With over 40 years of combined military and civilian leadership, including experience as a business owner, Tom brings operational insight and strategic vision to his role as President of Gardner Protective Services.

Outside the field, Tom is a dedicated family man and an active Elder in his church. He finds balance through fishing, camping, and golf—but his true calling remains rooted in service and protection.
